PhD. Javier Dufour from IMDEA Energía approaches the efficient biodiesel obtained from supercritical processes. He highlights the importance of ensuring sustainability in these processes, considering its environmental, economic, and social impact. He describes the simulation and life cycle assessment implemented in the project, including different research models. He focuses on the obtained results and the feasibility from theoretical models, revealing a significant reduction of the carbon footprint. The optimization of the process seeks to ensure competitiveness and economic sustainability, while prioritising the versatility of raw materials.
